I do not know much about horse racing but I know someone who does. This person eats, sleeps and breathes the sport. It makes perfect sense that they have a blog dedicated to this sport.

The Aspiring Horseplayer’s first post "Curlin: 2007 Horse of the Year" shows the authors love of horses:

"His name now firmly entrenched atop the rankings, those of us that take pleasure in watching him run can only hope that he returns for a 4 year old campaign.  If he does, it just might be the stuff of legends.  Regardless, he will always have a special place in my heart as the best horse I’ve ever seen.   He’s a special one, for sure, and part of me is saddened to know that they’ll never quite be another Curlin in my life."
