Remember Julie’s dog? She got some good news about him, and I am so glad to hear that.

I also got some good news about my cat Spike today at his yearly checkup. He’s had asthma all his life, and now that he’s getting older, I have been worried about it becoming something worse. However, ever since I switched him to cat food without animal byproducts, corn, or wheat, I’ve noticed his asthma attacks have been fewer.

Today, the vet said his lungs sound the best they have ever sounded. I asked our vet if he thought the switch to food without corn or wheat helped, and he said it very well may have been the difference.

I’m just glad his lungs are better than ever, not worse as he ages.
