I was idly scrolling through my Google Reader late last night when I saw my friend Chez Bez’s post. It was a teaser post, and I starred it so I could look at it this morning. I honestly thought it was some kind of smoker or circus equipment or something.

Imagine my surprise when I clicked over to Leesa’s blog to find out it’s a BEAR TRAP!!!! And here’s the coolest part- there are apparently so many bears around, that she trapped one- but not the one that needed to be trapped.

On one hand, I’m appalled that there are bears right there in Leesa’s backyard- that would be totally scary to me. On the other hand, I’m glad we humans haven’t killed them all off. And I’m also glad there exists a place that I could go visit bears if I felt like it. Go hit Leesa’s blog for some very beautiful pictures of a place that’s still wild.
