My 7 year old daughter wants to be a zoo veterinarian when she grows up, so I’m always on the lookout for a good website about animals. The San Diego Zoo’s Animal Bytes page is a really good one that I wanted to share with you guys.

You can look up animals by categories, or where in the world they live, or by habitat/ecosystem. This teaches a lot more than just about animals- it also teaches some geography and science. I sat my daughter down with the site yesterday and 2 hours later, she was still reading.
