I’ve been feeling sorry for my dog Tiny lately. It seems that the cats have realized how soft and comfy my bed is, so they’ve decided to take it over as their home base. There’s just a small problem with that- Tiny’s used my bed for his home base for the past couple of years.

Saturday I went into my bedroom to see all the cats sprawled out on my bed and Tiny sitting on the floor looking woebegone. I put him in the bed, under the covers as he prefers, and I thought all would be fine, until I came back in there an hour later to find them all in the same position they were originally in. Sigh.

I finally let him in my oldest son’s room so he could sleep in the second most comfy bed in the house. Ah, first world problems, Tiny. First world problems.

What is WRONG with people that they would rape an innocent, trusting animal? I have moments where I think, "Hey, humanity’s not all that bad" and then I see things like this. Breaks my heart, I tell you.

Maybe tomorrow we’ll hear about this dude getting attacked by a pack of rabid wolverines. Justice, man. Justice.

I can’t believe how cool this is: rats surfing. No, really, look. HT: Popfi

The black dog, Mollie, is pretty certain she is a cat, no matter how much we inform her that she’s a dog. She absolutely loves to come over to my house and frolic with the cats, but she’s afraid of other dogs, besides her brother Indiana.

She also bats at Indiana when they "fight", and she likes to be held like a baby. She also happens to the the sweetest dog I have ever met. I absolutely adore her, I really do. But we have really got to work on this "thinks she’s a cat" thing.

Is there anything cuter than a brave little puppy?
