Tiny and Kitty have finally settled into what I can’t exactly call a friendship, but it’s no longer the outright dislike that they once had. I take them outside and Kitty romps while Tiny stands guard. I’ve never seen a dog that likes to stand guard as much as Tiny does. Kitty finally understands that Tiny doesn’t want to play, so instead of playing with him, she’s decided to just play near him. It works for them.

Tiny’s been an old man ever since I got him when he was three years old. He’s never gotten the concept of playing- he prefers just to pile up in your lap and let you pet him, or he’ll stand guard, ever watchful of stray leaves or neighbors mowing their lawns. Kitty loves to play, so I finally get to indulge my urge to buy lots of dog toys.

The picture is one Milkshake Snaps, who has his own Twitter account. It seems he’s been busy lately, though. Not much Twittering from him. But, he’s not the only cat that Twitters! Modern Cat has a post about some cats who tweet with pics every time they leave the house. How’s this possible? Go see.

Could you imagine seeing one of these in real life if you’d never heard of them before?

My cat Simon loves to watch me take a bath. Giving him a bath, however, is an exercise in pain. None of my cats like baths or water, which is pretty normal. Tell me about your cat, are they a fan of baths, or is it nearly impossible to give them one?
